My Story

Growing up I was always drawn to arts and crafts. Whether it was painting, ribbon-making, or experimenting with different materials, I loved exploring new creative outlets. Eventually, that creativity led me to sewing and design, and I never looked back. This love for craftsmanship and self-expression brought me to The Savannah College of Art and Design, where I began pursuing a BFA in Fashion Design.

While I was excited to follow my dream of becoming a fashion designer, about a year before graduating, I realized something was missing. I couldn’t shake my fascination with color, illustration, and texture—I wanted to bring those elements to life in my work. That desire to expand my creative horizons led me to explore the world of Fibers, where I could push the boundaries of material innovation and surface design, adding a whole new dimension to my creative vision.

Now, as a Fibers major with a minor in Fashion, I’ve found the perfect way to blend my love for fashion, art, and textiles. I’m passionate about creating fabrics that make a statement—pieces that help people express their authentic selves while spreading joy and confidence. My goal is to design textiles that not only enhance garments but also tell stories, evoke emotions, and celebrate individuality.

I find inspiration in everything—from the smallest everyday moments to the experiences that shape who I am. My work is a reflection of how I see, feel, and move through the world, and I hope to bring that same energy into everything I create.
